When the video-game character Mikhal realizes that one of his players is becoming addicted, he decides to make some changes to the game design. Nick, the player, has been leveling up for weeks to be victorious in his next boss fight against the Dragon of the North. He can’t wait to get his hands on the fabled Golden Sword. Little does he know that Mikhal and the Dragon have struck a deal.
